Activation of the Deutschlandsemesterticket
Students who wish to use this service must register with the easy.GO service themselves in accordance with the instructions available at https://www.ovgu.de/unimagdeburg_media/anleitung_deutschlandsemesterticket.pdf.
OVGU does not automatically transmit any data to MVB or MVB's service provider. If you wish to use the Deutschlandsemesterticket, you yourself instruct OVGU to pass on data to the provider as part of this registration.
When using the university's single sign-on procedure, you will be informed separately about the type of data passed on and its purpose. Your personal data will only be transmitted to the provider after you have given your consent.

All students enrolled at OVGU who have paid their semester fee into the OVGU account can use the Deutschlandsemesterticket.
The Deutschlandsemesterticket is valid throughout Germany within the scope of the Deutschlandticket. It is non-transferable and is issued as a personal ticket. For more information on the fare conditions for the Deutschlandticket, please see here.
The Deutschlandsemesterticket is only valid for the semester for which the semester fee has been paid and re-registration has been completed: in the summer semester from April 1 until September 30, in the winter semester from October 1 until March 31. It must be reactivated at the beginning of each semester.
Activation for the summer semester is possible from March 26, for the winter semester from September 25. From the date on which the Deutschlandsemesterticket can be activated for another semester, it can no longer be activated for the semester that is coming to an end.
After disenrollment within the semester the Deutschlandsemesterticket is still valid until the end of the semester for which it was activated. Please make sure that you have activated your ticket before you submit your request for disenrollment.

The Deutschlandsemesterticket can only be accessed digitally via smartphone. For this you need the MVB app "easy.GO". The Deutschlandsemesterticket is only valid in combination with an official photo ID.
Please note: The subscriber is responsible for ensuring that the mobile device is operational, for taking precautions against misuse, and for displaying the full text of the ticket in the app. In the event of unavailability or a missing or incomplete ticket data transfer, a valid ticket must be purchased elsewhere before the start of the trip. The terms and conditions of carriage of the respective transit company apply.

No. It is only possible to re-register/enroll if the whole semester fee, including the contribution for the Deutschlandsemesterticket, has been paid.
The ticket is saved in your app account. You must log in to your account.
The system language of the smartphone must be set to English or a language other than German in order for the app contents to be displayed in English.
The smartphone must be connected to the Internet once at the beginning of each month. After that, you can retrieve the Deutschlandsemesterticket in offline mode. When retrieving the ticket, a message will initially appear stating that there is no internet connection, but the ticket will still be displayed. It is strongly recommended that you keep your mobile device activated at all times while traveling with the Deutschlandsemesterticket. You cannot log in while in offline mode. The Deutschlandsemesterticket must be retrieved and displayed on your mobile device before you begin your trip. If you are unable to display it, you will have to purchase a replacement ticket.
Please note that an automatic logout will take place if you have not opened the "easy.GO" app for 30 days.
