More than 25 per cent of students at the University of Magdeburg are international students – that’s quite a lot! To help all the students settle in well in Magdeburg and at the University of Magdeburg, there’s also the ‘Welcome to OVGU’ app, which is designed to be like a little first-aid kit.

For Elicia Vetter and Lucie Kolbe, physical education classes this summer term were different from usual. Normally, the two teacher-training students attend their sports science modules – their minor subject – on the university campus. This time, however, their studies took them to the University of Jyväskylä in Finland for five days.
